74 Putting things in motion

Dahlia's POV

"We plan a way to kill him."

Damien said, making me perk up almost instantly. Alanah pushed herself forward at his words as well.

'If he kills him, we will feel it, feel it all.'

'Can we handle that?'

She shifted inside before my eyes locked with my brother's. I could see that he was thinking the same thing, the worry sitting in his gaze as he looked at me. He shifted slightly before his hand gripped mine. I felt the small tremor in his fingers as they locked around me.

'If he does it now I won't be able to be strong enough for us Dahlia. I'm weak still, you will feel all of it, the pain, the loss, the grief.'

'No grief Alanah, we hold no grief for him. We will feel the tether snap, we will know that he is gone.'

'It will be worse than it was when mother... we need time.'

I lowered my head, breaking eye contact with Levi as I felt a tear slip pass my lashes before falling down to the blanket that sat around my waist.
