Miriam
I had spent the last few days in the computer room trying to find anything to help me decipher the writing on the scroll I had found and successfully avoiding Aro. I couldn't find anything to put me even one step closer to understanding why my face was on an ancient document. Discovering the secrets of the ancient scroll seemed much more important than finding a way to break my fate bond with the playboy prince.
Aro I felt eyes boring a hole in the back of my skull and pulled Celeste closer to me. I knew it had to be Miriam I felt glaring and my suspicions were confirmed when I took my seat and caught her stare. She has no right to be angry, she is rejecting me!I thought returning her look with a hard stare of my own.
Miriam The desperation and need in Aro's kiss left me breathless. I could feel everything he had left unspoken, his guilt about not coming to me about celeste first, his desire for only me. It was dizzying. I wanted to give him everything and more.

TylerI had been running through the woods to tire my wolf when I had scented fear in the air. I followed the scent to find a woman I recognized as Aro's mate being attacked. My wolf lunged at her attacker, knocking him to the ground. The short skirmish that followed had resulted in me being stabbed in the side with silver and him taking to the air to escape.
Miriam Aro had brought me back to our room and was now gently cleaning the blood from my face while we waited for Doctor Alana to arrive. I could feel the anger and hurt he was trying to hide from me. I wanted to comfort him and tell him none of what happened was his fault, but it hurt too much to speak. The truth was the only one to blame was me. I had trusted Xaviar, assured Aro that I was safe alone
I woke to a delectable trail of sparks caressing their way up my arm. I rolled towards Aro and my breath caught in my throat. He looked like a God with the soft morning light from the window behind him framing his body, his eyes dark with hunger. My heart quickened and I felt myself becoming slick with desire."How did you sleep?" His voice rumbled, barely a whisper.
AroI listened with quiet suspicion as the self-proclaimed King of the Spirit clan detailed the murders that had happened across four of the kingdoms. He was adamant that a hybrid was to blame, but none of my archivists had ever mentioned coming across information about hybrids as they catalogued and scanned our ancient texts into the computer system. None of what he was telling us made any sense.
Unknown"What are you, exactly?" Xaviar asked."That is none of your concern Water Fae." I shot back, my tone making it clear he wasn't to broach the topic further.
