Chapter 17

It's almost eleven in the morning. My boss just called me. He had finished the meeting with his staff and now he is waiting for me in the hotel lobby. He told me he wanted to take me somewhere.

When I got there, I saw my boss and Carson were sitting on the sofa. My boss looks so hot and so handsome as always. He wears a black long-sleeved shirt, black jeans, and a long black coat. His outfit looks casual, but also elegant.

Carson smiled at me when he saw me. They both got up from the sofa as I stood near them.

“Sir, where are we going?” I asked into my boss’s eyes.

“I'll take you to ski,” he replied. 

My heart suddenly skipped a beat. I was so happy. "Oh, my God! Thank you sir!” I said with a cheerful smile. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him on the cheek.

I stepped back as I took my arms from him. The smile on my face suddenly disappeared and turned into nervousness and fear when I realized I just kissed my boss. Not only that, I even kissed him in front of his employees' eyes.

All the girls stared at me with hatred and disgust in their eyes, while all the men stared at me with curiosity.

I looked my boss in the eye. “I’m so sorry, sir,” I said and lowered my head in apologize.

I felt so sorry; I didn't mean to do that to him. Whenever I feel happy, I go crazy and forget everything.

It startled me as my boss hugged my waist and pulled me closer to him. His gentle eyes met mine and held my gaze. He cradled my chin and kissed my lips gently.

I closed my eyes, enjoying his lips with my heart pounding.

He let go of my lips and looked me in the eye. “You don't have to say sorry. I am yours and you are mine. You can kiss me whenever you want, just like I did to you,” he said in a soft voice.

I stared at him in silence; I felt millions of flowers blooming in my heart.

The eyes of the girls who were staring at us bulged with their mouths wide open. They shocked and could hardly believe what they were seeing.

My boss smiled gently at me and took my hand. He led me out of the lobby into his car, which was parked in front of the main entrance.

Carson hide his smile as he got into the car and sat next to the driver. The car then took us away from the hotel to the ski area in Sapporo Teine.

When we got there, we had lunch at a fancy restaurant. While we were eating, I asked Carson why Amanda wasn't coming with us. He told me she had returned to New York last night because her work here was done.

I felt both happy and relieved after hearing what he said. That evil witch will not bother me again with her evil plans. I was free from her grip for a while.

Mr. Carson and I are ready to ski. We are now standing in front of our boss, who is sitting on the bench in the ski area.

“Sir, why don't you come to play with us?” I asked into my boss's eyes. 

“I don't like skiing,” he replied.

“Then why do you want to go here?” I asked, curious.

“You told me you like skiing so I brought you here.”

I fell silent with my heart pounding. He touched my heart with what he did to me.

“You two just go play. I'll wait here,” my boss said.

I kept staring at my boss. I suddenly didn't want to play I want to be with him.

"Let's go," Carson said to me with a cheerful smile on his face. He couldn't wait to go skiing. I then nodded hesitantly at him and we both walked away, leaving my boss alone.
