First time meeting you

Kate’s stomach retched, her throat was very dry, and her tongue stuck at the roof of her mouth as she was trying to know which place they had brought her to.

It was such a long journey that her head ached as she struggled to access her surroundings.

The room's lighting was very poor; the only light came from the rotting windows in another room.

Suddenly her heart raced "toward a window," and she grimaced as she prepared to make a run from it. She pulled herself off the ground and began to stand; she winced if only she could get to the window, she could break free from those abductors.

"Ouch, my leg, it’s hurting," she wailed in pain. Her leg was crippled with pain as she tried to shuffle her way through the window, but it was excruciating.
