“Oh god, what a surprise, Max!” Sam said first to Max and hugged him, but got away because the teachers were still present, while I and Ryan stood, making the most intoxicating eye contact ever.

His blue eyes are so pure and so true. So deep and so clear-

“Hey,” Ryan said to me, taking me out of my thoughts. “Surprised?” he asked. I looked here and there, Max and Sam were already gone, leaving me alone.

“Y-yeah,” I said finally.

“You look beyond taken aback,” he said. “Are you sad that I’m here?”
