Mama Escapes: Elevator Brawl
Amy ran over the bodies. Her mind couldn’t figure out if this was a terrorist attack or something else. She ran down the hospital hallway, trying to make it to an elevator. She had to escape from two Death Row Infantry-men who tried to grab her and the little boy.
Amy discovered that her body could do amazing things. Her morning jogs and her daily exercise routines on her Peloton bike off. Also, her UFC training helped her.
One soldier reached to grab Amy, and she leaped into the air, using her knee to knock the man out of her way. The second soldier who tried to grab Amy fell to the floor with a broken nose. Amy did her fighting while still holding the little boy in one arm. She made sure that her precious cargo was nice and secure while continuing to fight her way toward the elevator. One soldier after the next would get knocked down by Amy’s fist or her foot.

Amy laughed when her dad made fun of himself after noticing ketchup and mustard decorating his shirt. Amy’s father had a talent for making her and her sister laugh. She thought about how her dad did a spot-on Snoop Dogg impersonation and had his daughters losing their stuff laughing. Growing up, Amy always saw her father as her hero. He had a tough but gentle persona. Most of his nurturing personality traits got passed on to Amy. She thought about how her father would wear his Nike cap backward and would sport his tattoos beneath his muscle shirts. She loved that her father’s favorite movie was Straight Outta Compton, and that she had to keep reminding her dad that the young man portraying Ice Cube was actually Ice Cube's son. Amy always considered her father to be an extremely handsome, but rugged, version of her favorite action movie hero, Jean-Claude Van Damme if Jean-Claude Van Damme was Korean. Amy would tease her father, calling him her Van Damme Papa Bear, which he hated.

Olivia had to make it to the pulse car because it was the only way to escape from the facility. The pulse car was how Olivia, Lukas, and the Death Row Infantry-man she killed arrived at the space station. Walking down a dark space station tunnel that seemed like it would never end had a haunting effect. Olivia felt like she was walking the length of a football field. Lukas looked around the dark tunnel, remembering how scared he would get whenever a power outage would occur at his home. The child remembered experiencing a power outage when a group of Death Row Infantry-men broke into his home and abducted him, his father, and his mother. There was something unnatural about the darkness in the tunnel. It was a darkness that looked like it wanted to reach out and grab you. It took a second for Amy to run around the car toward the driver’s side. Before getting in the car, Amy looked around one last time. It was a mistake. When Amy opened the driver’s side door and looked around, that’s when she spotted the him. She saw him standing on the hood of a parked car, watching her. Her body almost became paralyzed when she saw the hitman standing from a distance on the roof of the car like a statue. She knew Paul could see her from fifty feet away. He was looking dead at her. The killer’s pristine black suit glistened beneath the parking garage’s lights. Amy got into the car, slamming the door and locking it. Her heart pounded against her throat. She knew Paul would make it up to the car in a few minutes, and she knew she would lose Azad if the assassin made it to the car in time. Olivia stopped and turned to see what was chasing her. It was a big mistake. When Olivia turned around, she almost dropped her flashlight. Lukas screamed when he saw the man running toward him and Olivia. The man was naked, dirty, and covered in blood. But what caught Olivia’s eye was the naked man’s damaged skull and upper body. A large fragment of his skull was missing. Olivia spun back around, taking out running at full speed. She didn’t care if the naked man was human or if he was something else. All Olivia cared about was protecting Lukas and making it to the leveler before the man could catch her. He drew closer while moaning like a wounded ape. Lukas held on tight to Olivia. He never took his eyes off the shadowy distant outline of the naked man. The man chased after them, moving like a toddler learning how to walk. “Please help meeeee!” The man’s distorted voice moaned through his words like a night wind rustling through a forest. “Pleeease!”

Amy could barely raise her voice, and she couldn’t see where Azad was. She gasped and sobbed while listening to Azad cry out to her. Amy wanted to move her body when she could feel the Death Row Infantry-man pressing his knee into her back. Her body shivered from feeling the Infantry-man’s hand grabbing her butt and rubbing up and down the back of her thigh. The Infantry-man enjoyed himself exponentially. He was on top of Amy and he pinned her arms against her back with his knee grinding into her spine. The soldier’s large, sweaty hand tried to creep its way up between her inner thighs. Now was not a good time to have temporary paralysis. Amy couldn’t move her body, so her mind tried to go to another place. She thought about something pleasant, like her husband. Olivia swallowed her tongue while forcing herself to move her hand toward the lever again. Her heart still pounded in her throat. Olivia felt like her heart was going to pop out of her chest. She thought the Boneseeker Man could hear her pounding heart and was probably annoyed by it. Amy immediately laid the machine gun down on the wet pavement. She felt miserable and powerless again while staring into the eyes of the hitman. “You broke my nose,” Paul chuckled while pointing up at his face and walking closer toward Amy. “No one has ever broken my nose. You have my respect.” Paul gave Amy his signature devilish grin. It was the same grin he gave her in the hospital room after she witnessed him cut her father’s throat before she passed out.
