(Asher’s POV)

“Okay, heck.” I heaved a sigh and stretched my neck . In front of me, the flesh monster is taking its time to form to it’s fullest monstrosity. I can’t bet my luck to try killing it when it was forming as I don’t want to die again after just a week escaping The Flesh, so in the meantime, I rolled the white knitwear—which I know will turn red later because of how violent I’ll tear this creature in front of me apart—and then unzipped my hockey bag which I stored my modified hockey stick and my kitchen knife.

The completion of it’s formation was usually signaled with it’s outer layer hollowing into several medium sized holes to let the tentacles portrude outside, and that’s when I strike. I charged forward, before leaping to spin my body and land a blow which split its huge body into two. Although that blow looks fatal, that alone wasn’t enough to kill it actually. Based on my experience, these creatures functions like a golem, with a core hidden somewhere
