Chapter 17 - Crinkled shirt, smudgy eyeliner
Mrtyu was dwelling on his coldness. Her eyes involuntarily opened to look at him. Her eyes gazed over the mirror behind them, and it dilated the pupils in her eyes in terror.
“What...?”
She was shocked. “How is this possible?”
Apart from the frosting atmosphere, Mrtyu could feel her pearls of sweat on her forehead as her heartbeat increased rapidly and the terrifying tremble spread all over her when she found only her reflection in the mirror around her and nothing else like the scarlet butterfly or the man who had been still.
Her enlarged green eyes turned to her side, and she saw the man kissing her passionately, and the terror grabbed her soul horribly. When she felt her palms cold in fear that his hands were squeezing her waist, she found it impossible to breathe.
“I can touch him,” she said as her hand around his neck unwrapped slowly and her quivering fingers just reached his shoulder.
