“Doctor, How is my mom?” Rachel asked, her eyes steamed with tears.
“She would be fine, just calm down okay?” The doctor assured but how can she calm down when her mother is in the ward battling with her life.
The doctor entered the ward back and Rachel started pacing around.
“Rachel,” Kelly called softly.
He had followed her to the hospital while Aaliyah had gone to the clinic to check on Nana.
Rachel brought out her phone and with her hands shaking, she dialed her dad’s number.
He picked at the first ring.
“Dad” her voice was cracking.
“Rachel, is everything alright?”
“No” she sobs, “mom is in the hospital”
