There's only so much to do when you're a prisoner, but sitting around and playing queen isn't my style. It's been days since the last conversation with Ragna that scared the living daylights out of me, but that didn't mean I was gonna throw my plan of escaping out the window.

My door creaks open slowly, peaking through the small crack as I slip through, hurrying down the hall. There are disgruntled murmurs down the corridor and as I draw closer, I realize it's Gale and Celene arguing about something, that by the looks of it won't be quelling anytime soon.

"I don't want that, " Gale rebutts.

"Well, you don't have much of a choice do you? It's what I want and what I say goes. " Celene replies smugly.
