Ch. 139 - Trapped

I laid in my bed for a while, thinking and plotting to escape this place. My only chance would be when Jackson came to retrieve me for dinner.

'Do you think we can get out here?' I asked Athena. I needed her strength right now, and not just physically.

'We have to, even if it means killing him ourselves.' She sneered inside me.

My hand rested over my belly. I couldn't stop rubbing my skin. I wanted to meet my son, hold him in my arms, and protect him from every evil in this world.

'I won't kill Jackson, and neither will you. We won't harm our pup.' I sighed.

'It is odd that I don't feel his soul. Kiera, I fear he may not be human.'

'He will be perfect, Athena. We will raise him to be the savior and never let Dietus touch his soul.'
