“Disaster disasters is about to strike. Be prepared, a blood bath is about to come. The gods have obscured everything but there is just one thing clear. Death is coming.” The seer stood up from his seated position, his eyes turning and becoming normal. Peering into the secrets of the heavens was becoming more and more troublesome. This was especially more ever since the savior was born. The gods did not want to give a clue as to what was to happen. The only way to be safe, was to walk hand in hand with the savior.”
Chilemba moved from where he was seated at the voice of the seer. They had lived in the congo basin forest for so long that he did not know otherwise. The forest here was good as a place to not just hide but to live well and survive. The game and everything. They had known that a time would come when the very ground they stood on would shift, but they did not imagine it would be that soon.
“Seer, are you saying that the only way we can survive in these times is if we walk hand in hand with the savior, how do we even do that. We do not even know who or where she is.” Chilemba said as he moved several times across the short space that housed the seer. We will know where she is and who she is for she cannot be hidden. The god of love does not do things in silence. We can either be part of the blood that flows or we can be among those who experience greatness and abundance of prosperity and peace.”
All this felt peculiar. But they would know what to do. Maybe it was time they moved from this place and settled somewhere else and if not, at least show their loyalty to the savior. They could not afford any disasters. “Chilemba, go and prepare your pack, be ready to be on the move anytime from now.
This was not just happening to the pack in congo, no several other families of werewolves existed in various places. Some were not just preparing to work hand in hand but also make sure that the savior worked in their favor. It would not just do to be in the ordering of other alphas, they had to be it. They would make it in this life come what may.
Back in Alaska, Thapelo received word that there was a lot of movement happening within packs. It was almost as though every pack was operating on a certain given itinerary. It felt like the beginning of the last. Spies stationed among the Victorians sent word that the Victorians were preparing for war. Every day and night, they had rigorous training, the soldiers trained such that if a war or a fight occurred, they had higher chances of winning. Also, they had gotten a healer among themselves, who with her help, they were destined to move further and further.
When you led a pack, its prosperity and position was determined by many things and having a healer was one of it. In as much as werewolves were created in a such a way that they had high regenerative ability, at times, they could get into circumstances when they could not recuperate even if they wanted to. This was where the healers came in, they did not need anything other than their inner energy. They could channel their inner energy and even if one was on the brink of death, they could come back.
This information did not bode well for them because the stronger the Victorians became, the worser it was for them. They did not know peace. They had provoked them even before they had a healer, now, with how things were going, it would only be a short while before something happened. They had to be as prepared as possible. With this came the need to mobilize everyone in the pack, strategies had to be put in place and training had to commence, even fiercer.
They had even become more daring. This time, they did not just injure the spies, no they moved to their border and made sure that the scouts on their land died, with only one surviving. This was certainly an open provocation and if they took it laying down, they would suffer.
For the past few days, Leila had been having a recurrent nightmare every time she slept. She would see herself closed off in a house, which was covered in something like a net. She sat there in the darkness, while holding her legs in a cramped position. She was crying and when she moved her hand to the ground, she touched something soft and mushy. Something cold, and by coincidence, light happened to shine on her hands. They were full of blood. This was what woke her up sweating. It felt as though the peace she had known had only been but an illusion. Her life was on the brink of a major change. She could feel something ominous brewing within her spirit. Danger, change, it all felt suffocating. This had been exactly even more pronounced since her last date with Ryan.Speaking of Ryan. Damn that man was handsome. He had actually taken her on her word and pursued her like a girl ought to. They went to a classic hotel that afternoon for their lunch. While there, they talk
The next day when she had come for work, she headed straight to his office. She had to get off with the apology and at least have some peace in her mind. Getting to the office, Enoch this time welcomed her more calmly than before. He did not eve stare at her anymore, almost as if he was bowing before her and giving her respect. Inside, she found Ryan seated, busy with his work. He looked so regal and royal as he sat there and focused on his work. His side profile, eye catching. She felt herself swallow as she looked at him. He raised his head, to meet her eyes. He still looked stern, and maybe a little angry at her after yesterday. “Good morning, sir” she said as she moved towards him. “Really, now we have come back to sir Leila?”Okay, now she did not even know what the hell was going on. “Um, I’m sorry about yesterday. I did not mean to insinuate that you are a liar. At that time, I did not even know what I was thinking. In as much
Now, her dreams alternated from the strange dream and erotic dreams of being with Ryan. When she dreamt, they went further than just kissing, and this was building so much tension within her that every time they met, the atmosphere crackled with desire. Maybe she should let go of the idea that they date like normal couples. There was nothing normal about them anyway. She was an existence not expected to be in this present world, normalcy be damned.Things had already reached where they had with Ryan and besides, it was not like she had anything against him. So that day, she sent him a message and they made plans to go visit his parents during the weekend. maybe all this would shade light on her origins, or maybe learn what the hell was going on with her. concerning her work, nowadays she had felt inspired to write more towards the romantic side of life than anything else. It was like she was full of romance and good will since she met Ryan. And she also liked it. Of co
The whole compound looked festive as they alighted from the car. The woods covering the palace so fresh and inviting that she could feel the stirrings of a desire to run through it. The servants received them and went on to report them. They had arrived just about lunchtime and were taken directly to the dining table. There, they met Estella and Thapelo, dressed majestically in an inviting manner. They looked as majestic as ever. The place looked festive as they had decorated the rooms. It looked out of this world. The large chandelier hanging from the top, sending soft light downwards. The huge windows by the sides drawn, providing sunlight through. The place looked sophisticated as well as comfortable. Estella and Thapelo stood and walked towards them.“Good afternoon son, I trust your journey was, okay?” said Estella as she stood on her tiptoes to kiss Ryan on the cheek. Afterwards, she turned to her and hugged her warmly. “And this must be Leila,
After lunch, Ryan took Leila on a tour around the pack. They went back to the place where the warriors were being trained and she could feel her blood raising. Almost as if she was a warrior. At that moment, while they were practicing, it felt as though something was controlling her. showing her how to move with dexterity. With a clarity she had never experienced, she found herself move towards the warriors. Her movements not fixed or learned.Fighting, blood thirst echoed through her mind turning her eyes bloodshot red, with her iris elongating into thin slits, when she transformed, she did not even know it. Everything came in small details, the breath, the positions, every weakness detailed before her. she moved and leapt, the arteries pulsing before her. within a few seconds, the warriors were laying down, panting and if she had not had mercy, most of them would be lying hurt. It confused her. lyra, her inner wolf was excited, almost like she had an aphrodisiac.Aft
By the time Ryan came up, he found her already asleep. She slept curled on the bed, occupying just one portion of the bed, leaving the other larger part extensively unused. Sitting on his bed, he felt a headache beginning to form. The Victorians were becoming stronger. The presence of a healer had set them on a higher pedestal and now they wanted more. They wanted war. This issues really came at a bad time and he knew that he had to put his priorities right. They could not just keep on letting the Victorians push them around. They had to make a statement of power.Reducing his clothes to his briefs, he climbed onto the bed and held her in his arms. She was deep asleep, as shown by her soft snores. She turned and hugged him back tightly. This did make him feel important. Like she could actually depend on him. On the other hand, he was surer than ever before that she was the savior, they had all been waiting for. As fate had it, she was meant to be there with them, in this pack
Leila woke up nestled in Ryan’s arms, which now felt like steel. She could already feel the chirpings of the birds. And the smell of dawn. Everything felt invigorating. There was so much that was going on, and at a fast pace at that, but she was not scared, she felt liberated. Looking at Ryan who was now sleeping peacefully on the bed, she could not help but blush as she remembered what had gone down the previous night.Heartbeat increasing, she sat up and hid her face on her palms. She could feel his hot breath on her abdomen. Everything that went on last night had her rethinking her relationship with Ryan. The way his golden eyes had captivated her, drawing her into his world. The way he had moved up her body, tasting every part of her as though savoring a delicious dessert. The small kisses that he peppered along her body, making her shiver. Goosebumps developing along the path he trailed as his warm breath met her skin. Every time he had moved his lips from her skin
Ryan watched her as she walked down the aisle towards him. It still felt surreal how a handful of days ago, he had never even met her, but now, she was coming to him. They were to be united under the goddess of love, blessed to carry royalty in their blood. The path was lined with white pillars, on top of which there were vases of flowers. Each vase holding a mix of flowers. They all looked exotic, and he could imagine how carefully they had been sorted. But no matter how exotic they looked; they did not hold a candle to her. No, his Leila looked like an angel dropped from heaven. When he had heard that she was on the aisle, no, it was not heard, when he had felt her scent. His blood had started rushing wildly. Heartbeat increasing with excitement, today she would be his. Then he lifted his eyes slowly, which rested on the hem of her dress. The dress was long enough to cover her feet but the occasional rising of the dress as she walked allowed him to spot the leather sandals
