"Time for school, Angel!" mom called out, lightly knocking on my door, standing on the doorway, smiling.
"Mom, do I have to?" I asked, pulling my face out of the comforter.
"Yes, you do. Otherwise, you'll miss out."
"I'll ask Dylan to cover me up!" I told her, turning back to sleep again.
"Angela, get up!"
"But, mom--"
"No excuses, darling!" There was no going back. But atleast I could try a bit.
"Mom, *cough* *cough*, I dont... think I'm feeling that good," I faked being sick by masking my voice. This was the last straw.
"Alright, fine," Phew! "I can tell Mason to go back."
I gasped, suddenly remembering our conversation from last night.
Flashback:
"Mason?"
"Hey," he smirked, "Angela."
He spoke my name slowly as if teasing me. Ok, I know my mom was shouting my name loudly and that's how he knew.

♡Angela♡Have you ever experienced true anger for someone?Where you feel like blowing there head off?Anger is an intense emotional response. It is an emotion that involves a strong uncomfortable and emotional response to a perceived provocation, hurt or threat.Anger can occur when a person feels like their personal boundaries are being violated.Yes. I'm feeling angry. And this anger is directed towards Mason. So, let me explain what happened.I was reading my favourite book and the main characters were just about to kiss when Mason had the decency to interrupt me. And also he stole my nutella that I especially kept in my bag. When I woke up in the morning, I looked and saw that the jar was half empty. When I asked Mason, his only reply was; C'mon, I saw it, I took a bite of it, I liked it and ate it. You should be thankful I left half for you.
♡Angela♡"Mom, I know, I know… but I don't know… fine… NO!… I'll ask him… Yes… Yes… okay, I love you and dad!…okay… bye... yeah... bye!" I sighed, briefly after I put my phone away from my ear and turned around.I jumped, startled as soon as I turned.Mason was standing in my doorway supporting his famous smirk. His hands were folded on his chest as he looked at me, intently. How long had he been standing here without me noticing?"Yes?" I asked him, warily."What, yes?" he was playing innocent."What are you doing here?" I narrowed my eyes at him and his smirk widened."I'm here to take you," he unfolded his hands and came towards me. He was dressed comfortably in a T-shirt and sweatpants."Take me where?""Did you forget already?" He raised his brows once he saw my confused expression. "We h
♡Angela♡I tucked the photo in my shirts pocket as soon as I heard the door open and close. I had to wear training clothes which consisted of a comfortable violet shirt (it had two side pockets which was a huge advantage for me) and spandex shorts. I prefer to wear this in front of a guy I just met."Cherry--ugh, go change, you stink!" Mason commented as soon as he came."And you smell like a rose," I snorted, "Thanks for pointing out the obvious, anyway, captain!"He laughed while I left to take a shower. While in the shower my thoughts drifted towards the picture again. Who is Mason, really? Who was that girl? What are Dylan and KC hiding from me?I remembered the day at the mall when KC and Mason looked ready to shoot each other. In the photo they looked happy. Like they were best friends Forever. What happened to that? What is going on? Most importantly how does Mason know them?My though
🍒Angela🍒"I am hungry," I whispered to myself. After I bathed properly--without the water disappearing, this time, thankfully--I was starving. I saw Mason's text about not seeing him for a few hours because he was doing some very important work....Okay. The mysteriousness of his work did arise suspicion in me and I'm dying to ask him what he does and why does he live here and a lot more questions but I didn't want to interfere in his matter. I just met him a few days ago and I don't think I hold the right to be personal with him right now. After getting dressed, I put my brown wet locks in a messy bun and went downstairs to look for some food to fill my hungry stomach. Once I reached the kitchen door, I was
ⓂMasonⓂ"Eyes on your girl." - CarlMy happy mood dispersed as soon as I read the message.I looked at Angel and she was looking at me with concern in her big dopey eyes. I smiled at her in a reassuring manner and said, "Go to your school, Angel, otherwise you'll be late.""Okay, bye," she was smiling again. I was feeling so relieved to see her back to herself."Bye, Cherry and take care of yourself and remember to ca--""Call you if something happens, I know," she completed my sentence before picking up her backpack and opening the door. After I made sure she was safely inside the school premises, I started my car and drove back home.On my way, I called Dylan and some other members of my gang to inform them about the current situation, also telling them to be ready if any mishap happens. Mark and Hade, two off my best fighters were assigned to k
AngelaI took a few steps towards him, forgetting I was mad at him for a second, stopping just near his face to confirm he was asleep, when he suddenly lifted his arm from his eyes and whispered, "Hey, Angel."My steps froze, abruptly at his voice and my eyes widened as I took a few steps backward maintained."Uh... I'm..." I stuttered, thinking of an explanation, "I was just looking for my phone. I put it on this table last night," I explained, pointing at the table above his head.He cocked his head to the side, "Really Angel? I didn't ask for an explanation." He lifted himself to sit down on the couch. "And as far as I know there has been no phone lying here."I probably looked like deer caught in headlight right now but I was still angry at him, I can't let myself be intimidated by him."I didn't say it was here, I said it was lying here, 'last night'," I fake-smiled, befo
AngelaI closed my eyes for whatever remark I'm about to hear from him.And as soon as I did, everything went dark. Literally. The remark I was waiting to hear from him never came, instead the sound of bullets firing did. What the hell? Is there a show going on? Or, are real bullets being fired?! Since, I've heard the sound of bullets only once in that market, I could hardly differentiate. They did sound like real ones. And if they were, we're in serious trouble."Angel, get up we're going!" I got up from my seat as soon as I heard the sound of Mason's voice."What's going on, Mase?" I questioned him, totally puzzled. His hand found his way to mine as he tried to lead me out, amidst the chaotic crowd of screaming people. Right now, everything felt like a blur, people were moving here and there, yelling crazily; some were falling down even."I'll answer ev
