"I didn't expect you to come", she mutters.

"Why so?" I ask.

This is the first time we are communicating in this place. It's not a silent moment anymore.

"Just like that", she says. "You should have slept until now"

"I'm not feeling like to", I tell her.

"Why? Is anything wrong?" Her voice is a bit concerned.

"Just stressed out about the work. Zoya is leaving in a couple of days and I have to take over all this then", I mumble, keeping eye contact.

"Isn't it good news then?" She beams. "I mean you have such a good opportunity to prove your capabilities even more"

Her excitement makes me a bit excited too. Damn! I was so scared a while ago. Even now I'm scared a bit. Not to the extent where I had to think of quitting. I still have that fear though.

"I know but I don't think I can carry that. So, I was getting worried", I scratch my head, breaking eye contact with her so she doesn't see the anxiety on my face. "I hope Zoya changes the plan anyway"
