"Mr Kaiser, it'll be fine", Nikhat slides her hand out of my grip, hesitating as I come back to reality.

I immediately pull my hand back. I wonder why I lose control over myself in such situations. I just hope she doesn't get me wrong for all the things that have been happening in the last few days.

"Please be careful", I scoff at her and she shakes her head, keeping her gaze away.
