I didn't believe it at first but it does feel like he's being truthful. We are in Miami. Apparently, we're supposed to meet the man we spoke with over the phone. He picked this city. I don't know why, but I'm glad he did. This may not be the preferred reason to travel but we're here and that's what matters. Even though Charles was not okay with the idea as he dragged his feet, he finally came around and insisted we came together.
While I'm sitting in the car, my mind drifts back to events of this morning, and I unconsciously chuckle. Charles can be so extra. Tony is a totally different person in person than the man we spoke with on the phone. He's a lot more confident, very sure of himself and also very talkative although, the kind of talkative that speaks sense or at least arouses one's curiosity with his deep knowledge of different past events.
