Meredith looked down in the basin of water. The pool was almost a looking glass of sorts. If a witch wished to see something from afar, they could use a looking pool. As if they were a fly on the wall.

Meredith gazed down into the water and watched as Aurora and Arden sat with Eli at the kitchen island of the pack house. They were discussing Eli's day and the friends that he had played with at school. Meredith watched the interaction. The boy did not seem to have any of the curse yet.

Meredith waved her hand over the pool and a new image became clear to her. Lila paced a bedroom of some kind. Meredith knew that it was not the same room that she had been occupying in the cabin. The woman must be in a new place, but where? As she watched longer, she saw Veronica walk through the bedroom door. She said something to Lila, but Meredith was not able to quite make it out.

It was one of the issues with the looking pool, not everything was clear all the time. Meredith waved her hand once
