Reva looked towards her, pausing her makeup session. "Look at you, getting excited hearing Louis' name—wow, wow," she said with a hint of mockery in her tone. She was wearing a blue tank top that hugged her curves perfectly and black ribbed wide-leg jeans that highlighted the rose tattoo on her thighs.
She was already dressed for college, with just a touch of makeup and a purple college bag packed.
Shrey rolled her eyes as she took her clothes from the closet. "You idiot, I wasn't getting excited about Louis' name, but about the fact that today is the last day for submitting projects," she smirked at the end of the sentence.
"Oh, but why?" "Because it took me two days to complete it, and now it’s finally done," Shrey said, closing the door with a thud and a proud smile.
"Seems nice to hear, hurry; I'm going downstairs to get you your breakfast," Reva said, and she was about to leave when she heard Shrey say, "Thanks, honey," and she smiled as she returned to Shrey's room with a tray of bread omelette and orange juice.
She kept it aside on the small table that was near Shrey’s bed and packed Shrey’s bag for her. Soon, Shrey was out after only taking 5 minutes to bathe and get ready, wearing a simple white crop top and ankle-length black jeans.
The only thing left for her was to comb her hair and apply sunscreen, as it was getting late to proceed with other skincare steps.
"Eat as well," Reva said as she broke a piece of bread with an omelette wrapped around it near her mouth, which Shrey gladly accepted and ate.
“Oh, baby, I love your small gestures, muah, I love you," Shrey said, pretending to be a loving husband to Reva.
"Honey, you laugh so manly," Shrey said, pausing her combing session and looking towards Reva, who had poker face.
Shrey was confused, so Reva held her face and moved her towards Louis, who was standing at the door frame and laughing at Shrey's comment.
(Meet Louis Lambert. He is a well-built muscular guy who is popular in the entire college, i.e., St. Marry College of Arts, Science, and Commerce. Every girl in his college has a huge crush on him as he is the national level basketball champion and the captain of the team.
He and Reva entered this college by scholarship, one for sportsmanship and the other for acing in her every academic year. He studies hotel management because he loves to cook and has a great leadership spirit.
On the other hand, Shrey earns for herself by writing novels, editing books, taking video photos, and designing and decorating stuff for wedding purposes.
She is a bright student as well and depends on no one for help as she is an orphan, unlike Reva, who left her toxic family.
Today he was wearing a simple black t-shirt paired with white pants and black shoes and a black bag which he hands-on the left side.)
"You're so funny, Shrey," Louis said, still laughing, and coming inside and sitting next to the table where Shrey's breakfast was placed, he was about to eat from it without wasting any seconds when the plate was taken from the table.
"Sorry, it's for Shrey, not for you," Reva said with a poker face, breaking another piece of bread wrapped around with an omelette.
Louis rolled his eyes and looked at the time, which indicated they were running late. His eyes widen, and he looks towards Shrey, who is busy chewing her food and applying Chapstick."Hurry, Shrey, we are getting late; we have only 5 minutes or else we will be late and Prof. Sorte will punish us," Louis said, pacing in the small room,"Yeah, yeah, I'm done; let me just drink this juice, and surely next we'll be leaving for college," Shrey said, quickly taking juice from the tray Reva was holding. "Easy bruh," Reva said as Shrey gulped the juice down.
"Hey, wait for me," Shrey yelled, but to her surprise, they didn’t hear. She was tired by now, as she never works out. Louis was about to catch Reva as she was getting tired as well, but before he could, Louis noticed the car coming towards them with speed, and since Reva wasn’t attentive to the sight, due to Louis' great reflexes, he reached out to her. Her eyes widened when he grabbed her by the waist and pulled her towards him when a car crossed with speed, and he cornered her near the gate of someone’s house. They were staring at each other and panting without getting apart. The road was narrow and one way, the car halted its progress when a girl, who was running to save her friend, came in front of it. It was Shrey; she was running towards Reva to warn her about the car, but lucky for her, she was saved by Louis; on the other hand, Shrey was luckier, as the car's driver stopped the car at the right time or else. "What the hell?" shouted the manly, deep voice at his driver as
Shrey sighed as he repeated, "My college is 5 minutes away; if you know more than these three words, proceed; otherwise, please side." Shrey was somehow impressed by her comeback and smiled proudly, though she knew they were at fault as well. "You!" Before he could say anything else, his phone rang, and his attention traveled to the phone inside his car. "Sir, I will get it," the driver said, bowing his head and rushing to get his boss’ phone from the car for a split second; they didn’t pay attention to Shrey and her friends. George sighed looking at the call log and rubbed his forehead to ease some tension. Taking this as a sign, Reva signaled Louis to run as they were getting late and the man standing in front of them seemed to be distracted, so Reva nudged Shrey and signaled Shrey to follow. Shrey knew they were getting late, so without wasting time, the three decided to go from the other side of the car silently. When they reached the other side of the car, Shrey shouted,
Shrey’s POV Boredom is hell when you have to bear it in class, and a distracted mind doesn’t help either. Me and Reva were sitting on the second-to-last bench, which was near the back door of the class, and luckily today the last bench was empty too. Hearing Prof. Sorte repeat the same topic which she taught yesterday as many students were absent and students like Reva came and Miss Shrey was dragged to attend as well was one of the reasons, I didn’t feel like paying attention to I was busy observing the view leaning on my desk when suddenly someone caught my attention. It was the same handsome man who was about to vanish me from this ‘not so worthy of my existence" Earth. He was talking to our principal; their gestures and way of talking appeared to be formal, and the man seemed authoritative in front of our principal, so, I guessed he wasn’t here for admission, and clear as crystal, he isn’t here to complain about us either. But curiosity inside me is building to know him m
Miss Sorte was standing behind Shrey; Shrey blinked twice and stood there frozen. "Good morning, ma'am," Miss Sorte greeted the principal. She did notice Shrey from afar, and that was the reason she approached the principal, and Shrey was standing frozen on her spot. George’ POV I was talking to the principal of the college and was absolutely bored and tired, as yesterday itself me and my cousin brother landed in India, and I decided to get my brother Jonathan, aka Joe, enrolled in this college as it was near where we were going to stay. The principal was busy showing me the college personally, as now I am the trustee of the university. It wasn’t needed, but she insisted, and as she is the elder, I wasn’t able to say no, not out of respect but because I am new here and need to interact and blend well. “Good Moring, Ma’am” one voice chirped from behind, I turned around only to find the familiar face from few hours, she smiled to the principal and then she looked towards me, I ra
Shrey's eyes light up hearing this, as for some time she will be safe now. She looked towards Principle and gave her a flying kiss; her professor was facing her back, so she wasn't able to see Shrey's gestures. "Let's go, Mr. Hemsworth, this way." Shrey said excitedly, "Oh, professor! Sorry, that I missed your class, but I was asked by the principal to meet you, so I had to leave. I hope you will mark me present for your lecture.” Shrey said with a tight lip smile and then she turned to beg the principal to save her this time with her gaze. The principal slightly nodded and said, "Yeah, she's correct; I recall requesting you to bring Shrey to me as well; thanks for doing it." Shrey smirked at the principal and moved forward, followed by George, who sighed audibly and said nothing. He was getting late for his important building, yet today he decided to keep all work aside and rest for the day, as work can be paused but rest is the least prioritized subject for him. "I'm sorry,"
"Here is the library," Shrey said, breaking George's reverie; he was immersed in her eyes as he waited for her to blink her eyes open. "I mean, look back, this is our library." This time, it was George who avoided eye contact by using his phone. "Let’s go," George said, and he moved forward to go inside the library. "Hey, wait, where are you going?" Shrey asked, running behind him. He halted his walk, but Shrey slipped and bumped into him; it wasn’t her fault the floor was wet as it had just been cleaned. George sighed, closing his eyes and trying to control himself. "Isn't it obvious that if I am heading towards the library, I'm willing to go in?" He turned around to face her, but she was missing; there was no one behind him. He was confused and looked around. "Where did she go?" he asked himself as he fixed his jacket and walked towards the reception. Louis had just come from his basketball practice, was sweating, and was heading towards the changing room to change his dirty and
"Now where are you going?" Louis asked sternly yet tried to stay calm. "None of your concern," said Shrey, trying to remove her hand from his hold. Someone from behind Louis tapped his shoulder and said, "Hey." But Louis didn't budge, and because of his tall figure, she wasn't able to see behind him. "Can't you hear me, guys?" Reva, who was holding a pile of books in her hands, asked them, sighing heavily, after hearing Reva Shrey peek from the side. "I can, but this idiotic nugget can't hear with tans of earwax nurturing in his ears, I guess." "What the hell?" Louis asked. He was annoyed by her and created some space between them. "If your hands aren't amputated yet, mind helping this poor girl." Shrey and Louis rolled their eyes when Reva said this, "That's offensive," and finally helped her hold the books. "Oh, come on," Reva said and moved forward, followed by Shrey pouting behind and kicking Louis leg. He managed somehow and glared at her, "Here we are; let's go." Shrey look
