A series of subsequent gasps were what they heard as the concerned females whispered amongst each other.
"He’s not kicking us out, is he?" Hannah whispered nervously.
"Look what you’ve done. That handsome hunk should’ve been mine if it weren’t for you!" the maiden that Hannah was arguing with, retorted in disgust.
"Me? Wasn’t it YOU who started this mess?" Hannah replied, angrily in return, though in a whisper.
"Be quiet, he’s looking at us! Have some dignity!" another maiden in blue scolded the other two in a low tone.

It seems that she must’ve promised partnerships with other maidens as well, to escape the predicament of being involved with the mishap earlier.
