Maddison P.O.V. Seeing my brother and Alpha Rick was definitely a shock to the system, and Ember was clawing to come out and beat up Rick. He was always protecting his sister, and although I understand the need to protect one's family, he also always did it so I was the bad guy. Liam P.O.V. The last couple of days have been wild, to say the least. There has been a lot of attention because of Maddie, and we have had to reach out to everyone to tell them about the changes in my birthday celebration. Maddison P.O.V.After I healed Piper’s friend, Liam offered to let them rest in our room. We’ll leave the door open, so they can leave if they like to. It’s late in the afternoon now, and I have spent a good few hours or so on this. I turn to Liam, who is sitting behind me still, and apologize. My instinctive reaction was to cover myself, but as he gently removed my arms and told me to not hide from him, I felt something warm wash down my spine. Liam P.O.V.I had every intention to let Maddie sleep through the night, but I just couldn’t keep my hands off of her.
