Walter hastily offered a toast to Frederick: "Mr. York, consider this drink as my way of apologizing."

He then downed it in one go.

Seeing Walter's state, Frederick shook his head helplessly and also finished his beer.

Vivianne quietly refilled his glass and turned to Walter. "Director Song, I was able to win my case today thanks to you speaking up for me. It's me who should thank you."

Walter waved his hand dismissively. "It was the least I could do. As a public servant, speaking the truth is my duty."

He had felt guilty since he realized his misunderstanding of Frederick and wanted to make amends.
