June’s jaw plopped as she descended from the taxi. For seconds, she stood star-struck in front of a grand casino. Four-story building of glittering glass walls towered over her. All thanks to the location tracker she had implanted on her brother’s phone for days like this. It wasn’t so hard to track him down.

What the hell was he doing in a casino that looked like this? The few times she had to track him. She always found him in a shitty gambling room. Not a place this enormously flattering.

She smoothened her hands on her baggy black pants feeling a-teeny intimidated before walking through the queue of expensive cars she had never seen before. Her head blurred. John was here to use her savings to compete with people like this? Anxiety mixed with a trace of anger rode her spine.
