POV Griffin
After taking a few more breaths of Lilly's scent, I calmed enough to let go of her. She looked scared and I hated it. I didn't want her fear, I wanted her love.
"I'm sorry baby. I didn't mean to scare you" I whispered in her ear and pulled out her chair for her.
After we both sat, I looked at the other women at the table. As I began to get to know them, I could see behind their cold facade. They were all terrified. My heart broke as I looked at them.
"We will discuss your 'date' later." I said to Lilly with a dark look and then turned to the rest.
"What pack is it?" I asked and Rose sighed.
"The Dark Moon pack" she replied.
I knew the pack. They were large but not even close to our size. We had a stable relationship with them.

POV LillyI sighed as we pulled into a parking lot. The ride wasn't as bad as I expected. Griffin had lightly rubbed my back the whole time. Instead of being annoying it was kind of nice. I looked up to see the diner. It was bright and happy looking and I couldn't help but smile at the sight of it. Everyone quickly piled out of the car and Griffin helped me out and then jumped out behind me. He grabbed my hand and walked next to me. When we got to the door, he let go of me and opened it.
