Chapter 100: Best Actress Award
Coincidentally, the person to read the nominees for the best actress award was none other than Tommy Hawks, the same man who interviewed Gabrielle a few months back.
He came out, giving a bit of humor before he finally started mentioning names, "Ladies and gentlemen, here are the nominees for performance by an actress in a leading role."
"Joyce Rose. To Love Again."
"Rita Wood. Home."
"Jane Willows. Obscure."
"Lina South. In The Abyss."
"Gaby Taylor. The Fallen Princess' Return."
One by the one, the cameras focused on each actress nominated for the best actress award. Each gave their smiles, averting gazes and fluttering eyes. Even Gabrielle tried to look away from the camera, turning a second shy at the mention of her name.
Eventually, Tommy opened the envelope in his hand and announced, "And the award goes to..."
He looked at the audience and resumed with a louder tone, "Gaby Taylor."
