I really had no intention of giving up, but Ethan's behavior discourages me. I don't know if I'll be able to hold on. He doesn't make me want to fight for our marriage. It looked like he was just waiting for this occasion to disgrace me. I think taking time off is the best thing for me right now. Once in my supervisor's office, I submit to him my wish to take a leave of absence.

"But why do you want to take leave, Madame Naëlla? You've only just started work, is something wrong?" he inquired.

"Mr. Dang, I really need to rest."

"I understand you, but unfortunately, I can't give you all the time off. You have just started work and on top of that, you are an intern.’’ Replies Mr. Dang to my greatest disappointment.

"Oh!" I exclaim with a tinge of disappointment in my eyes.

"What's wrong Naella? Why do you look so sad?” He asks me, looking considerate.

“It’s complicated to explain Mr. Dang. I have a few minor issues.”
