CHAPTER FIVE

     It has been three months. I didn't dare to step out of this property. It's London. I've built dreams to be in this country with someone else. My mother in law is a kind-hearted lady. She loves me, that makes life easy and happy. My father in law, his eyes remind me of my husband. We played carrom every night after the meal. In the beginning, I lost a lot of games. Now I'm getting a master of it. Last night, I won the game but my father in law was still smiling. He said with a smile that finally, I learnt to play it. I miss my husband. Sometimes, I cry at night when feelings become unbearable. Karan, he never let me miss my brother, Ruu. My friends stopped calling when I stopped to answer them. They didn't visit nor did I. But they sent me messages daily. I'm still upset with them. I'm still upset with my husband. I avoided carrying my phone with me. I can't show in front of mom and dad that I'm upset with their son and we don't talk. W
