CHAPTER FORTY ONE

KELSEY POV

We were all eagerly waiting for Tara's so called announcement. I glanced at my wrist watch and it was already getting late.

Her lips curved into a stunning smile perfectly showing her white teeth.

"Marcus and I are getting married."

What?

I looked at Marcus but his face didn't show any emotions I couldn't understand what was happening. Was this all planned?

I was stunned. It felt like I received a huge punch in the gut while I was still in shock the others started clapping.

The glass of water in my hand fell to the ground and shattered instantly.

"Married?" I whispered softly.

All eyes turned on me. I felt tears burning my eyes. No, I couldn't start crying here, not now. I was about to excuse myself but Tara stopped midway.

I couldn't even look her in the eye because she won and succeeded in hurting and breaking me apart.
