Splitting Up, Making Discoveries
It's been roughly an hour since the previous 'incident' back in the forest. For the whole journey until now, none of the three said a single word, whether it be the girls asking just what happened there or Kirou coming up with some form of defense for what he pulled off. All in all, it was quite a quiet walk.
The trio traveled that way until they got to the end of Thousand Wood Forest. Having arrived at this point, one of the girls, Navi, spoke up.
"So...What are we gonna do now?" When Navi asked this, she was staring at Kirou, as if his decision would decide the group's direction. Reya also gave Kirou this stare, signifying her agreement with Navi.
Kirou, for his part, looked at both women with a peculiar expression before releasing a breath. It seems that the two women have become subservient towards him after the spectacle they just witnessed. Kirou then shook his head free of any weird thoughts before he spoke up.

Somewhere within the region of Stone Mountain Range finds a group of wild golem creatures was currently being besieged. What made this strange was the act that this group was being taken on by three figures that looked the same, along with a half meter tall spider jet black in color with purple highlights on various points on its body. Naturally, the group besieging the golems was Kirou, his clones, and his new pet.[-150]That was the damage Kirou dealt with one of his knives to the body of one of the dozen golem monsters in the group he's fighting. To his disappointment, no matter how many times or where he attacks, he hasn't been able to land a critical hit on any of these golems. Following the directions he received from that mage, Kirou was now standing in front of a stone house that was obviously designed differently from the surrounding houses. Thinking back on the words that he received from the mage at the end, Kirou couldn't stop himself from chuckling."He was definitely right. I couldn't miss this." As Kirou said this, he went up to the door of the house and was about to knock."Just get in here already," came a voice from the inside of the stone house. Kirou raised an eyebrow in response before he shrugged his shoulders and entered the house.As soon as Kirou entered, he was greeted to the sight of an elder dwarf hammering away on a piece of metal on a large anvil, situated a few feet away from a large furnace. This was what Kirou saw upon his entry and this was only one section of the room. As soon as Kirou turned his head in another direction, Kirou saw a well ventilated resting area.

The previous events that took place in the village head's stone cottage had Kirou thinking about the seriousness of the situation he currently found himself in.'Even when I try to stay away from trouble, trouble still finds me, huh.' Sitting under a tree with Shadow Arachne off to the side playing with its spider silk, Kirou gave Mistaken Fox his undivided attention as he listened to the man's request. This went on for a few minutes before Kirou raised his hand, cutting off Mistaken Fox from continuing before he opened his mouth."So let me get this straight. You are, essentially, asking me to help you hunt down and bind about 8 monsters of similar strength to the minotaur you just obtained. And to compensate me for my help in this endeavor, you are willing to tame another creature of similar strength for me, no questions asked. Is that what you are saying?" When Kirou asked this, he gave Mistaken Fox a peculiar look. This look made Mistaken Fox feel as if Kirou was staring at his actual figure, in reality, hidden away by the various lines of code used to make up his in-game body.Mistaken Fox could only give a nod in response to Kirou's question as Kirou's gaze left him

Seeing Mistaken Fox visibly pale at his words caused Kirou to inwardly nod. His hunch truly was correct when he guessed that Mistaken Fox had ended up with a class change due to finding a gimmick. As it stood, Kirou was curious about what kind of gimmick it was, even if it was useless to him.Instead of pressing on now that he's discovered Mistaken Fox's secret and confirmed his suspicions, Kirou once again pointed in another direction, prompting Mistaken Fox to slightly calm down before staring in that direction. Once again, Kirou made sure to explain to him."In that direction, roughly two and a half kilometers away is another creature of similar strength as the minotaur and poisonous scorpion we just killed. Assuming you want different monsters for each kill, that's the closest one to us. If you are ok with similar monsters, however, there are a few more minotaurs and scorpions a lot closer." As the trio looked over in the direction of the blast, they realized that it was caused by a player forcibly jumping into the fray. On the other side of the clearing, Kirou could see a party for four, a woman and three men. From their gear, Kirou could see that this was a balanced party, at least that is what it is described as based on the information he had obtained from the gaming forums he's browsed over the past few days.The party consisted of a mage, priest, warrior, and archer, with the only woman being the mage. She was the one to launch an attack on the group of monsters locked in combat. While Kirou knew nothing about the stats of their equipment, with a quick activation of his skill <Metal Sense>, Kirou was able to tell that the gear that the warrior had equipped wasn't all that good. Using him, that team's tank, as the basis of the team's strength, Kirou could tell that the party wouldn't be able to face the consequences of their actions.
Immortal Era's Crafting Master Beating the Carapace Armored Shield Minotaur into Submission
Kirou had just managed to return to his feet from that roll when he had to backflip to avoid the carapace shield minotaur from stomping on his lowered figure.
