Evelyn's pov

I didn't expect that he would come like this, finding me in this kind of condition but of course, life was just that way. It had a way of beating me down and then displaying me to the plain view of other people to be mocked and laughed at.

Pressing my weight against the door I soon found myself inside my room and made a beeline for my bed, well I couldn't even make it there before he held me by my wrist and he looked me in my eye sincerely, and asked me what was the problem he had already locked the door behind him and I was far too weak to resist him right now.

I found myself intentionally melting into his arms and for a moment he stiffened up like a wooden board but then almost immediately he relaxed and wrapped his hands around me when I was done sobbing he gently led me over to my bed and by that time I was already filled with embarrassment down to the tip of my toes and I found it hard to meet his eyes.
