When I bring the fork out of my mouth, I feel a gentle touch on my leg next to Timothy. When I glance over to look at him, he pays me no mind. He sips his drink but when I look down at my leg, his hand is resting right there.

I reluctantly reach out and grab my glass of water, trying not to let anyone see that it bothers me. It wouldn't make me feel this way if he left his hand there and didn't do anything else.
