Aurora's wide blue eyes stared in utter astonishment at the rugged man cladded in a scary black suit, his once soft gaze was cold as ice, his stare would have scared the shit out of her if she wasn't dive into the well of shock. For years! She had dreamt, wished and died each second to witness these eyes again and when he was finally here standing in front of her she couldn't accept it.
This reality was too hallucinating to be true, she finally let her teary eyes blink when he stepped near her, crossing her frozen frame he entered the house leaving the rock solid petite woman behind giving her no chance to relish the moment of him coming in front of her alive. The second he passed her, she closed her eyes shaking her head when the familiar scent invaded her nostrils. This same crisp strong mint scent he always wore finally forced her to accept that he was real. She wasn't dreaming.
Her body startled when she heard a loud shrill of her father, running inside she found her father gaping at the tall muscular man standing still and straight facing the old man. Alvin felt like he was facing a ghost right now, and even after blinking multiple times, trying to pinch himself to reality he didn't disappear. Ace Clifford, the young man he watched dying in front of his eyes! It was impossible!
"A-Ace," He whispered finally making the cold man look at him with poker face. The intensity of his stare resulted in Alvin to flinch, it wasn't just a malicious glare it was more more than that but indeed it was murderous.
The old man couldn't keep the contact as his daughter started stepping near the tall man in daze. Even Ace's attention was diverted towards the stumbling woman who had deep tears in her eyes ready to be freed from her once bright eyes. His men tried to block her way but one glance from Ace, they stilled on their feet. Aurora with her shaking steps neared the burly guy getting no reaction from him.
Halting only a few inches away from him she looked up in his unblinking dark grey eyes with her teary blue ones, she raised her shivering hand to touch his cheek to ensure her disbelieving nerves that he indeed was real. The moment her cold fingers brushed against his beard jaw she gasped out freeing her stuffed tears not wearing any kind of facade in front of him for the very first time.
"Ace," She whispered palming his cheek blinking her eyes in daze, her eyes screamed the joy she felt in her heart, but his blank eyes and patched lips were now scaring her, she was desperate to hear her name from those lips again. The voice she missed so damn much!
"Please say something." She pleaded stepping near him. She forgot everything around her, the men surrounding them, the purpose he was here and her father who was still fighting the battle with his mind to accept that the man who died in front of him was alive.
"Remove," His lips parted letting her hear his voice after ten years but it wasn't how her Ace used to speak. The sweet, and soft voice of his had turned into deep, husky and dangerous ones.
She flinched when he grabbed her wrist removing her hand from his cheek, "Your filthy hand from my face!" He completed his sentence roughly jerking her fragile body away not caring if the force was too much for her. She yelped falling on the floor cradling her wrist in pain.
Her blurry gaze snapped up to his as he skillfully ignored her like he didn't know who she was anymore successfully ripping her heart out with his vicious words. Ace removed his ankle length coat handing it to Simon who grabbed it carefully hanging it near the exit door before coming back to accompany his boss.
"Alvin Clifford, long time no see uncle," His calm and steady tone instead of relaxing the old man drilled a new fear in him. He was used to seeing this young man at his feet either begging or taking his punishments but he had changed, so much that Alvin couldn't even recognise him at first glance.
The young man once known as Ace Clifford and only son adopted by Alvin Clifford for his underground business. Ace was adopted at the age of 7 and right after a few months Alvin threw him into the world of terrible training. Alvin had a business of underground fighting, to earn more money he decided to adopt a boy as he only had one daughter and didn't want her to go through any bad thing present in his world.
Ace was trained like a dog and if anything went wrong during his training session he was punished badly not caring if he was a child or sick. He indeed was given a name of Clifford and was famous for being the only son of his billionaire Foster father but only the truth Ace or the Clifford family knew. He was just a tool, a mere object to play with for these heartless vultures.
"Ace Clifford--" Alvin tried to speak but Ace raised his hand shaking his head.
"Ace Sullivan, that's my name."
And that was enough to snatch the floor from Alvin's feet, he stumbled falling on the chair behind him letting a ghost smirk swipe over Ace's lips watching the horrified look on his face, he knew this moment will be the greatest show to watch, he glanced at the object of his future torture staring at her father with confused gaze. Of course she wouldn't know about him.
"I-It's impossible, you can't be Ace Sullivan." Ace chuckled dryly motioning his man who following his boss' order kicked Alvin off his chair and brought it towards Ace. Aurora tried to approach her father when Simon kicked him to the floor but Ace's other men blocked her way restraining her.
"Don't touch her!" From his peripheral gaze he watched his guards ready to hold her arms to restrain but they instantly stepped back keeping a proper distance from the woman after hearing their boss' calm yet possessive voice.
Aurora watched him speechless, while Ace turned his attention completely on the old man, "Why? Can't believe that once a useless boy can turn into an unstoppable ruler." Alvin clenched his jaw shaking his head in disbelief.
"Enough talking! Where is my money?" Alvin not caring about his pride and ego kneeled before Ace trying to touch him but was kicked back by Simon, Aurora cried out trying to crawl towards her father but again the guards blocked her way.
"Please Ace, I have raised you for 18 years! You can't do this to me! You should be helping me right now!" Ace scoffed at the fool's audacity as he leaned his back against the chair gazing at the old man with his sinister eyes.
Alvin felt a shiver down his spine watching a deranged look in Ace's eyes, he had never witness such an intense murderous look in the young man's eyes before. He gulped when Ace without lifting an inch of his lips narrowed his eyes at the trembling and panicking old man before raising his hand.
Before Alvin knew his throat released a loud scream of pain when a sharp dagger flew from no where and stabbed his inner thigh, Aurora screamed for her father and ran towards him this time roughly pushing past the bulky guards. They stared at their boss for permission to restrain her but didn't get so they stayed back.
"Dad!" She cried out staring at the sharp dagger still dangling over his thigh. Her teary red eyes snapped to Ace's grey poker ones only to flinch at how he looked so unaffected by everything happening right now.
"Simon." His right hand man nodded and went near the wincing old man on the floor, without any prior warning Simon unflinchingly pulled the dagger out letting the man cry out in pain. He brought the dagger near his boss wiping the blood with his handkerchief.
"Ace please!" Aurora cried out trying to cover her father when Ace suddenly stood up making his way towards the kneeling man.
He crouched beside Aurora not even glancing in her way as he raised the dagger playing with it like a professional. She felt her heart drumming in her ears watching him handling the ponaird so carelessly. She stared at him with scared yet stunned gaze, he wasn't her Ace, he couldn't be. She wasn't familiar with this cold man but still somewhere in her heart she wasn't ready to accept that he had changed. And into a worst kind.
"You're right, even though the destiny of my unpaid debtors is always death but as you raised me so I have a proposal for you." Alvin looked at him with pained expressions holding his bloodied thigh, he gulped when Simon brought out a small thin file from his coat and handed it to Ace.
"You're injured so let me read it for you." Aurora flinched when Ace stood up from the spot and towered over the trembling duo. The powerful aura oozing out of him wasn't letting then relax even a bit, he had turned scarier and tougher than she had ever imagined him to be.
"As Alvin Clifford couldn't pay off his debt on time, so to repay the amount I am willing to give him time. Until the debt will be paid, Ace Sullivan is going to," He paused connecting his dangerous dark eyes with her scared blue ones as he continued.
"Hold his daughter Aurora Clifford as a collateral, he would have to sell his daughter's rights to Ace Sullivan." He finished as he looked back at the frozen old man before closing the file.
"And to add everything shortly she will be mine to do as I please. It would be fun to make her my plaything, precisely a whore I mean that's what she always had been." The moment he completed his words, Alvin tried to attack Ace but was kicked back by Simon making Aurora hold him, while Aurora felt needles piercing through her heart hearing her Ace cursing her with such a name.
"You fucking bastard! I am never letting you have my daughter!" Ace sighed shaking his head like he was disappointed at Alvin's deadpann.
"Peccato, lo volevo in modo semplice." He whispered before giving the daughter and father a bone chilling smirk, he suddenly started rolling his sleeves till his forearms as he nodded his head. (Too bad, i wanted it in an easy way.)
"Ace Sullivan gets what he wants uncle, if not through an easy way, hard way it is then."
Their faces turned pale watching his psychotic grin as he pulled his dagger out.

Author's PovBoth the father and daughter's faces paled when Ace pulled the dagger out gazing at them with his sinister eyes, he looked nowhere the young innocent man who danced on their tunes years ago. He had turned into way more dangerous and ruthless than they could ever imagine him to be, his cold eyes, blank face and the fire of resentment all over his face almost made them run for hills. Before Aurora could comprehend anything her arm was grabbed into a bruising grip as Ace yanked her up. Alvin cried out for his daughter but one gesture from Ace, his men held the wailing old man down. Ace watched once proud and arrogant runt crying and begging for his daughter's well being, it was a sight to behold and Ace loved every bit of it.Aurora clawed at his fingers to get rid of the scorching pain she felt because of his grip, but her struggle didn't even move the burly man an inch, he steadily turned his fiery cloudy eyes to her watery ocean ones freezing her with his one intense glar

All she could was cradle her bandaged stomach and stare at nothing. The moment she opened her eyes she found herself prisoned in a small room resembling a abandoned basement, her wounded stomach was indeed treated but whoever band-aid her didn't even care to change her ripped clothes, the shirt she was wearing was shredded from her stomach so her injury could be on display. She still felt a burning pain all over her body, her usually warm skin was a proof of her suffering from a fever but her terrible condition pointed out the brutality of the man who once was her angel. She didn't want to raise any delusional in her mind anymore, he had changed, he had turned a monster and there was no one to be blamed but her and her
Author's PovFlashback Continue Aurora held the urge to roll her eyes in annoyance after finding the concerned look in his eyes, he had been hot on her heels from the past month they were together. She had regretted listening to her friends many times already, she sometimes wished she didn't have the patience as the size of a bee so she wouldn't had taken this step in anger."What are you doing here?" Surpassing the need to tell him to get lost, she wore a blank face before trying to divert her mind, the young man danced his fingers in his messy hair before shooting a small smile in her way, even though it hurt the side of his lips.Aurora's eyes subconsciously ran towards the small bruises plastered over his face, his forehead had a small purplish scar and a sharp painful cut over his lips, but it didn't surprise her. Ace had been getting trained from the time he was adopted by her father, he never regarded this young boy as his son, he was more of a liability and tool to enhance his

Aurora gasped out when the tall man hovered over the wincing guy laid on the floor, he grabbed Max's throat in his large palm squeezing it mercilessly cutting the passage of air to his lungs."Why don't you try to show your strength on someone of your size bastard!" He hissed lowly watching Max's face turning white as sheet, he punched Ace's arm, tried kicking him and even clawed at his face but nothing worked, he was completely shunned down."You shouldn't have touched what's mine!" He smirked like a savage beast watching him struggle like a fish out of water and just when the choked guy was about to pass out Ace felt someone trying to free the struggling lad.His dark steely gaze snapped to the intruder and instantly they softened when he noticed visible evidence of tears on her eyes, and just like that his hand lost it's grip over Max's neck letting the man cough urgently. He growled not caring if anyone would hear him practically yelling on her, Aurora cradled her hurting wrist before looking at him nervous gaze, she understood why he was so angry, and surprisingly she had no idea why she even defied him even though she had never refused him anything before."You said you will break his heart today! But now you're saying you need more time!" He seethed taking a step closer to her, the anger was clearly evident over his face like he wanted to kill her!
