Chapter Sixteen: Ten years later

On top the twelve story building that houses one of the five star restaurant, in their flower garden my company in a beautifully arranged dinner celebration having a good time.

The night air was soft as the summer breeze blew around us. The sound of cutleries striking the ceramics plate added to the beat of the night, while the chatter and laughter from my colleagues lit up the open garden.

The dinner celebration was for the top members of my company, but my boss Reign insisted that I come.

Reign is the CEO of my company, an advertising and publishing company and my direct boss.

I was content to dwell in my small world, allowing the fun everyone was having to swirl around me. I wasn't an overly socialising type and was a little awkward when it comes to small talk, so I just engaged the ones beside me who are willing to chat.
