THREE DAYS TO CHRISTMAS PART 1- CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE

It had been a demanding day at work, as usual. To my surprise, I walked in on my mother and Zach engrossed in a movie he starred in. He was reciting his lines from the movie, seemingly trying to captivate my mother, who wore a bright smile. Judging by her expression, he seemed to be winning her over already.

Unbeknownst to them, I cleared my throat to make my presence known. "Jolaade, welcome back," my mother greeted, and I returned the smile. "Hey there," Zach greeted me with a smile as I took a seat and started to remove my shoes. "What brings you two here?" I inquired.

"I came to deliver some groceries for you, as I'm concerned that you may not be eating well due to your busy schedule," she explained. "And on my way out, I ran into him," she added.

"He told me to stay until you returned."

"No formal introduction was needed for me to recognize her," Zach chimed in, and we all laughed at his humorous remark as he gazed at each of our faces in turn.
