Chapter 62

The Angeles family was devastated after Melissa's close encounter with danger. Mark and Jeffrey both filed a month leave from their jobs to be there for their sister. Chris has never been more focused in her job. He'll at the station before the sun comes up, and comes home just to change clothes, and get a couple hours of sleep.

Everytime he looks at his sister's terrified face, he feels like something is crushing his heart from the inside. He wanted to do something to help her, but she's been distancing himself. Melissa wouldn't talk any of them, or even sit at the dining table with them. She hasn't come to work, or go out with friends. Most of the day, she will just lock herself inside her room.

"How is she?" Chris asked while they are having their breakfast.

"Not good. She's having nightmares, she's always jumpy. She wouldn't come out of her room. I'm worried about her." Jeffrey responded.

"Melissa is a tough girl. She's not going to break just because
