18. Remedy

Kaylynn's POV :

As I stood there in an attacking position, I saw him coming toward me step by step. His eyes were red for some reason. That's unusual... I have heard about it somewhere. But I couldn't point out the reason. I sharpened my gaze and waited for him for his first move. As he jumped towards me straight, I moved aside and jumped for his leg and bit him enough to hurt him. I wanted him to know that I won't care about hitting him. As he felt the pain, he roared and jumped on me again, but this time before I could make my move he bumped into me. His whole weight was on me and I could hardly breathe. I could see his eyes sparkling with victory. But, I wasn't ready to give up. I closed my eyes and used all my strength to get a release. As I was out of his hold, I knew I better run than fight with him which will eventually make my energy lose. I can't surrender to him, it's worse than death. Maybe I could outrun him this time.
