“Here,” Freya said, holding a shirt and giving it to me. “Do you know that scent?” she asked. It was very faint and the shirt had probably been there for days. “That scent is stronger than the one in the cabin where we rescued Camila. It means that whoever owns that came there before he came here and left.”

“This shirt is small for a Lycan or wolf rogue.” Calvin said, and I agree.

“I know it must be from one of the pups they took,” my mate answered.

“What do you mean? Does Camila’s kidnapping have to do with the mastermind of the missing pups as well?” James asked, confused. “I thought someone from the palace was behind Camila’s?” he added.
