Chapter 97. Looking for Anthony

"Good evening, Ma," James greeted Mrs. Beatrice as he saw her speaking to their gateman as soon as he walked out of the house.

"Good evening, my son. Is Lerisa at home?" Mrs. Antonia asked James. She had totally forgotten that it was Lerisa's engagement day. As she was speaking to James, that was the same time Remy and his uncle's car drove out of the house.

However, Remy didn't spot Mrs. Beatrice, but she already knew why Remy was there.

"Yes, Ma. Lerisa is inside; let me call her for you." James quickly went back into the house to summon Lerisa. He couldn't ask Mrs. Beatrice why she wanted to see Lerisa. It was not like Mrs. Beatrice was a stranger, so he went into the living room and saw Lerisa and their mother.

"Lerisa, come first," James said, not wanting to tell Lerisa that Anthony's mother was looking for her outside the gate.
