Chapter 10 THREATENED BY DEBTORS

Aiva's POV

I haven't been able to go to the academy since Lucas rejected me. I don't even know how I'll be able to go there with my head up after what happened again. Thanks to Lucas and Leo, I can't live a normal life for a long time.

I kept thinking about what Leo said on my way back home. What could he have meant by that? There's no way he would be behind that, right?

My phone interrupted my thoughts and I saw the caller is someone I don't want to talk to also. But I have been ignoring their calls too much that I have to pick it up. I suddenly remember they gave me till the end of this week and this week is ending soon.

I contemplated for a few seconds before picking it up.
