Chapter 50

Addison's POV

It felt like I had just fallen asleep when I suddenly sat up taking a sharp breath in as I clutched my stomach.

"Fuck!" I said as I quickly opened the drawer on the nightstand next to my bed. I reached in and grabbed the pills before quickly swallowing them back with water.

Feeling my body already heating up. I quickly ran into the bathroom. I turned the shower on as cold as I could get it.

I tore my clothes off and quickly jumped in the shower. I instantly let out a sigh of relief as I felt the cold water rain down on my red hot skin. I leaned against the wall and slid down while letting the cold water run all over my body.

Thankfully the pills that I got from my grandmother don't take long. About 5 to 10 minutes later I already started feeling the effect.

I quickly turned the shower off and make my way to bed as fast as I could. My body already starting to feel heavy as my eyelids droop. I stumbled the last few steps toward the bed before collapsing on it.
