Sunday went by so quick, and then came Monday, resumption of work, resumption of aches and worries.

I got to the Williams mansion earlier than usual. The house being eerily silent upon my entrance.

Not a single figure could be seen around.

Grabbing my apron from the rack where it was hung, I commenced my round of duties.

Few of the maids, I spotted roaming around getting one thing done or the other.

An hour in, and I still didn't hear the voice of Ms Tara yammering about one thing or the other. If it wasn't the floors not properly scrubbed, it would be the walls bearing stains.

Maybe, just maybe she had decided to give it all a rest on this fine Monday. Very unlikely of her.

The sound of a car pulling up in the driveway, got me peering out through the window of the living room, wanting to check on whoever it was.

Realizing it could be Mrs Williams who had returned home, I hurried up with the dusting, hastening up at once.

The door tore open, and next came in a figure.
