CHAPTER FIFTY-THREE

I took a quick shower before deciding on having an early night, I was exhausted I barely slept a few hours a night since I've been here

Wrapping a towel around my body tightly I opened the bathroom door. 

I abruptly stopped coming face to face with Carlos standing on the other side of the door. 

My heart was pounding in my chest. I didn't hear him come in. 

"Jeez Carlos you scared me" I let out, holding my hand to my chest as if to calm my rapidly beating heart.

It was evident to me that he was angry. The clenching of his Jaw and fists by his side was the evidence of that.
