23 Begging for the enemy
Jessie watched in horror as Christian had Keera up against a wall by her neck. He drew back his lips from his teeth, which dripped with venom. Ready to sink them into her flesh and take her life as she begged and plead for mercy.
Keera tried to push off the wall, only for Christian to slam her back against it with such force. The wall cracked.
"Are you trying to defy me? I am Alpha! And what I say or do goes." He sneered in her face.
"You see that woman over there? She is my mate and this will be the last time you f**k with her." Christian growled.
"Stop.'' Jessie sounded out weakly.
Never did she think she would beg for the life of her enemy, but after seeing what was happening before her. She knew she had to step in.
"Christian, please stop.'' Jessie said, walking closer to him. But in all of his anger, he didn't hear her.
