Lucy's pov;The old guy turned his phone and asked, "Come on, give me your brother's number." I turned on my phone and thought, 'Shall i tell him the truth?'The door opened and Tyler walked in along with Lance. I let out a sigh of relief after seeing Tyler. Tyler called out, "Grandfather!" The old guy turned to him and waved him to come near. When Tyler came forward, i saw him breathing heavily and covered in sweats all over him. Did he ran all the way here? The entire conversation was done through the phone and Shadow said he heard a woman's voice on the other end. What if they used technology to hide their voice? Lucy's pov;A week later, I asked Tyler as he was preparing avocado egg salad for breakfast, "Aren't you bored to be at home all day?""Nope. What's there to be bored of? I do all my work being at home, have my meetings through video calls, have my secretary inform me about the company's status now and then. To be honest, it's more comfortable to work at home. Lucy's pov;While Tyler was driving the car to home, i checked my phone. There were a couple of text messages from Mrs Smith, i opened it first.Mrs S: You've been busy. I'm sorry i haven't had a chance to talk with you lately. How are you doing? Hope everything's OK in there. I hired a new waitress at our club. She's clumsy like how you were in the beginning. Tyler's POV;For a moment, I thought Lucy was asking me to sleep with her, how stupid I was to think like that and I smiled at myself. As I laid on the couch in her room, I saw her sleeping on the bed. I thought she was embarrassed of me when she asked me to turn off the lights. But she asked because she wanted to hide her scars from me. Even though the lights were turned off, i could see her scar on her skin because of the moonlight. Tyler's POV;Two weeks later, While i was working in my laptop, drinking coffee, i saw Lucy walking to the kitchen. After that night, she haven't talked to me properly. She started fixing her own meals even though i asked her not to. My phone rang. When i took the phone to see who it's, it was a landline number. I answered it. They said, "Sir, this is KL hospital. We're making a call to remind you that Ms Jones have her appointment today with the doctor James."Appointment? Oh, it's the day the doctor told us to remove the cast. Lucy's POV;The first day I met Tyler at my club, he was sitting in a corner by himself, nursing his drink, as if it were the only thing keeping him alive right now. He was looking down at his drink, so absorbed in whatever thoughts had driven him here that he hadn't heard me approach and greet him. I stood behind him for a moment, waiting to see what would happen next. But after an awkward silence, I asked, "Sir, liqueur?" and he finally looked up at me with wide eyes and a startled look on his face. His cheeks were flushed red and his hair was mussed, but he still managed to be one of the most beautiful people I'd ever seen, even in the dim light.
