Darren's POV

I've been worried sick about Sharlynn. Aunt Linda had called me after lunch to inform me that our protection spells were failing and I rushed down there to help out with the spell but then when we got the spell back up eventually, Tom called me saying that he sensed that Sharlynn was in trouble. 

I met him back at school when a lot of students had already gone, and tried asking the few who stayed behind. 

" She seemed very upset today about that Sonya girl. It isn't a coincidence that the day Sonya comes Sharlynn is missing" Tom said as he scrolled through the contacts on his phone. 

" Why would she be upset because of Sonya?" I asked as I watched him scroll frantically through his phone. 

" Because she is starting to get attracted to Kyle," Tom said so easily as if he was talking about the weather!
