Chapter 2
AMBER'S POV
I screamed in joy and twirled, feeling happy and capable that I was able to pass their exams. At least, I was good in something, other than chores.
I broke the news to Alpha Gerald and June, and I must say, I was lucky that he allowed me without much stress. On the day I was leaving for Vetals High, I hugged and thanked my assistant maid for letting me know about an opportunity this nice.
The journey to Vetals High was a long one, but I didn't mind as the tall buildings and wonderful sights kept me intrigued. A whole new life was awaiting me and I couldn't wait to have a taste of it. I was finally free from the bond and shackles that Alpha Gerald and June put me in.
A few hours later, the driver got to the school and I paid with the little money I had saved for this day. The name of the school was boldly written and I could see students going in in groups, chatting and laughing with each other. Although there were others that were singles like me, so I didn't feel left out or sort.
"Good afternoon sir. I am a new student and here is my I.D card. I was assigned to dorm 12, but I do not know my way around here." I said, trying to speak like a mature junior year student.
The guard had a potbelly stomach and he seemed to carry it with pride. He collected my I.D and confirmed that I was a student of Vetals High.
"You see that gate over there? Go in and that is where the dorms are." He directed, pointing his hand to the next building that was next to the school.
"Thank you sir." I thanked him, smiling at him.
I went over to the building and then walked down to the dorms. I was really excited as I walked down the hallway to dorm 12 and when I got there, I opened the door slowly to peep inside.
"I think it's best you come in now." I heard a voice from inside.
Then I went inside and the aura that filled my nostrils were strong. I could sense it that they were Alphas. They were three in the room and two of them were looking down at me, like I was trash, while the other one was on her bed, with he earphone on and her phone in her hand.
"Uhm... Hello, I am Amber and you are?" I introduced myself, hoping for their names as well.
"I am certain you are in junior year. Don't you know how to speak to your seniors?" One of them said, with a raised eyebrow.
"I am sorry. I didn't know you are my seniors. " I apologized, lowering my eyes.
"It's fine. I am Diane, she is Julie, and that is Glenda." Diane introduced the others on their behalf, although, Glenda didn't seem interested in what was going on at the moment.

I had settled in and prepared to go to class as getting here today wasn't an excuse to skip class. I wanted to do well in my studies and if possible, be the top student.
After asking for directions, I finally found my way to the class. My new classmates were all talking to each other. It seemed like most of them knew each other before coming to the school. A few minutes later, the teacher came in and taught us a few things, she also introduced herself as Mrs. Nolan. I actually was excited all through the class, because I couldn't believe that I was learning in a conducive place, that was also far from the reach of Alpha Gerald.
My excitement and happiness was short-lived the next day when Mrs. Nolan came in and asked us to shift into our wolf form.
"It's your turn, Amber." She said, with a smile.
My heart began to beat rapidly as I knew that I couldn't shift into a wolf as my wolf was weak. I stood up and went to the front of the class, with my head bowed and I was fiddling with my fingers.
"Come on. We are waiting for you." She urged, placing her books as she focused on me.
"You can't shift into your wolf form?" She asked and the whole class gasped.
~
That question changed my fate in the school. My classmates started bullying me, making fun of me and teasing me.
A week later, i went to class as usual and Mrs. Phillips walked in to the class with high spirits.
"Good morning class, we are going to have a duo contest on the field." She announced, with a smile that revealed her nice set of teeth
We all moved to the field, it was a large filed and my heart was beating rapidly as I knew that it was going to be difficult to beat anyone here.
Mrs. Phillips started pairing everyone and then she paired me up with Nina, a mean girl in class. I could see that Nina was making her way to where I was, but it wasn't time for the contest and I knew that she was coming over to my side to say or do something that would hurt me, so I was moving away, stylishly.
I kept on moving until it was getting obvious that I was moving around.
"Now, I want everyone to be still. Let's watch those that are in a duo right now." Mrs. Phillips instructed, looking at us all.
I stopped in my tracks, but Nina had caught up with me before she stood still.
"Look who my partner is. Anyway, let me tell you this. I am going to rip you into pieces, because I won't go easy on you. I can't say because you are weak, I shouldn't try out my best potential. So, try your best not to be killed by me." She scoffed and left.
Chapter 3AMBER'S POVFeat gripped me and I started sweating because Nina was known for keeping to her words. She was also ruthless and it was certain that she wouldn't go easy on me, just as she had said. I envied all those who were cheering others, they didn't have any fear or problem. I was here, worrying about how I would die in the hands of a cruel girl. The time that I dreaded was here, it was my turn and Nina was already pressing her knuckles to get ready for the duo contest. Everyone became silent and I could tell why they became silent, it was because they were curious about how I was going to strive in this contest, considering the fact that Nina was my partner."Let's take a small break." Mrs. Phillips said as she left the field.I exhaled in relief as I heard that. I was going to prepare myself mentally for the contest. While others were chatting happily, I stayed in a quiet place all alone, dreading the end of the break. Then I saw a dark portal with my side eye. It was a
Chapter 4AMBER'S POVThrough my bloody and battered face , i managed to see the Boys everyone was paving the road for. They were simply beauty. Their faces seemed carefully sculpted by the greatest sculptor, they all had brown hair. One had the deepest Jade eyes I had ever seen and in those eyes was a cold look, the other had dark eyes, dark eyes that had a sense of mysteriousness to them and the last who had a little smile on his face had warm brown eyes that made me feel sick with the desire to look into them. All around, people jostled me in every direction, trying to get to them and I felt more pain in my body, but even as they all ran to get close, I saw they maintained a clear distance and I could hear as the girls called their names. It was there I discovered they were called The Triple Terror. These guys were angels, I didn't understand why terror was added to their names. They went and sat in the auditorium, probably wanting to watch the contest, not knowing it had ended. Th
Chapter 5.Just as I had predicted, ever since that day, my troubles at the school had doubled. The Triple Terror used me as a tool to vent my anger. They bullied me and the whole school seemed to enjoy it.It was then I realized why the word Terror had been attached to their name. If I was opportuned, I'd have picked the bullying of the whole school if only theirs would stop. They made me carry their chairs and tables and follow them wherever they went just for the fun and everyone who saw me laughed. I tried to take it all in, I was just a Weak Omega and all that there was for an Omega was this type of treatment. The triplets made me write their notes, made me say and do silly things just to entertain their classmates. And they let the girls beat me up whenever they were in a bad mood. My roommates didn't help. After school, I should have been relieved that I was going to have a break but they made me do all manner of things for them. They said all manner of words and constantly re
Chapter 6AMBER’S POVI was dreading that moment when they would call me at any time. The room they had given me was nice and comfy, but they were the triple terror. Who knows what they had in store for me?I also found it hard to sleep for two reasons which were, I was in a place where I wasn’t familiar with and then I was living with the opposite sex. Anyways, nothing was bound to happen as they had no regard or feelings for me.In the middle of the night, I heard a knock on the door and I wondered who it could be.“Who is there?” I asked as I held my duvet, tight, to myself.“I still have to answer that, in my house?”It was one of the triplets, but I couldn’t tell who it was, just by his voice alone, so I stood up and opened the door. It was Aramis.“I’m sorry. I…I guess I am used to it.” I stuttered, without maintaining eye contact with him.“I need a cup of coffee. I have work to do and I am feeling sleepy.” He said, without an expression on his face.“Oh, alright.”It was a bit
Chapter 7AMBER’S POVAs she left, my heart felt like it was going to come out of my chest. That was a threat and there was no way I could get away from here. This was a place that I was unfamiliar with and I would still be at a disadvantage if I run from here.Neither Moon Hunters Pack or this place was good. I looked at the ceiling, not having anything to do and then I heard the car moving downstairs, so I checked my window and then I saw the trio with Dana, leaving the house. At least, it was better as I was all alone right now. There would be no one to make me feel scared or uncomfortable. Then my eyes spotted the swimming pool, I got interested in going near it, because of the way it looked. I have never been near a pool and it wouldn’t hurt to go near one right now.I went downstairs and was amazed at how cool the pool looked. Then I bent down and sat near it, making my legs enter the water. It was a really soothing experience and I couldn’t stop my legs from playing in it.Then
CHAPTER 8 I believe it's safe to say that I've learned a thing or two in this my short miserable life. We weren't all created equal, there's a really remarkable standard that keeps hovering around, somewhere above the clouds. These standards do well to keep each and everyone of us in check, preventing certain uncertainties from falling out of place.Out here, it's a two way street. No intersection, No junctions, just a straight road with no crooked ends. The rules are quite simple, be the predator or be preyed on. It's an obvious notion, in this story I'm inevitably the queen prey.Do preys try to resist? Do they run? Are we to hide? What are the odds of surviving in this cruel realm where every odd seems as though it's against the weaker species? All these I thought in that moment with Dan standing right in front of me, taking remarkable strides towards me, with every tick and tock. It didn't come as a surprise when he had pinned me to a wall. His breath fanning down the reigns of m
CHAPTER 9The pain that emanates from the inevitability of not knowing what happens next is so sharp and succinct. It mars you only to mar you again. A thing about the past is that it never leaves you, no matter how promising the future fit's into the canvas' frame, the wound remains fresh. Creating a constant reminder that you'd never really heal from it. I hadn't healed from the accident that happened a few years back, it never really looked like I was going to heal.I relived every day, every moment, creating conspiracy theories that'd have prevented the accident from happening. These thoughts marred me, only to mar me again.I was there again, all blood and broken shards. Staring down below the battered figure that had become of my brother. I could no longer see the smile he usually wore when we went out on night's as these. I could no longer see those bright sparks that lingered within the hearth of his eyes and the thought of never seeing them again made me shed out an ocean. I
I narrowed my gaze as Brandon put his arms over neck and slowly pressed his lips on my cheeks.I gulped down, my hands shaking vigorously and my legs which were beneath the table paralyzed at his single action."Oh my gosh! What?! It's true." Their mum screamed in excitement."Really? Brandon really?" He rolled his eyes feeling a bit pissed."Hey, don't be such a bad eye." Aramis teased.Everyone knew what was going on except their mum. I couldn't help but think, why would he introduce me as his girlfriend? Won't it make things weird when their mum sees me cleaning the kitchen or scrubbing the triplet's room? These three guys are turning my life into a nightmare. I admit there was a time when I saw them as angels but honestly, even the devil would show more pity than they showed me."Amber, I'm so sorry I didn't recognize who you are to my son much earlier." She smiled softly."Uhmmm… it's fine ma. Can I call you mother?" I asked, trying to spice up the drama a little."Awwwwn, that w
