Rayne's POV

"Your proposal sounds promising," he said, making my heart drop. "But I'll need a little more convincing. Why don't you stay at Mysticrock for a few days? I would like us to discuss this plan of yours further."

I stared at him with wide eyes, fully knowing this couldn't end well. Why can't he just decide here and now if he's going to become allies with us or not? There's nothing else to explain. I can survive just one more night, but a few days? That's going to be hell for me. Lisa is going wild just being so up close to him, now I'll have to spend a few days?
