Chapter 24
The room across from ours wasn't a bedroom. It had a few couches and a fireplace in it and looked like an office that was turned into some kind of intimate visiting space. He led me over to the couch and sat on one that was across from me. There was a small table in between us that was set up with water already.
Was he going to tell me that he's crazy? Split personalities? He was being so sketchy and I was starting to think I should have just stuck to my guns and went home.
