Alpha Kayden's POV

I sat down by the fire, the warmth from it was entering my body through my boots. It was cold, the coldest we have ever had.

I sighed and turned around, only to see members of the pack happy and excited, a small party was going on to celebrate our hunt, it was a good kill.

I turned to Julius and he was seated like I was, but he wasn't alone, he was with the blond girl, Susan. She was his wife now.

Months had passed and a lot had happened. Julius was a better man, but I couldn't say the same for myself. A man is always better with the woman he loves.

“Alpha.” He said as he turned to me with a cup in his hand. I smiled and nodded back, lifting my cup also, before gulping down what remained in it.

“Ughhh.” I groaned and shrugged and the strength of the drink got to me. I stood up and walked to the edge of the wood, and walked through it until I got to a small clearing that looked like a sloppy hill.
