Lorena POV

I watched as Miss Donna was tied with ropes to two pillars, her head raised to face the sun, blindfolded. It was a cruel and unusual way to die, but I couldn't bear to see her meet her end just yet. Gathering my courage, I stood up from my seat and approached Fenrir, surprising him with my decision to stand up for someone who had once wanted me dead.

"What is it?" he asked, clearly taken aback.

I bit my lip, unsure of how to express my thoughts to him. I knew it would be impossible to change his mind about executing Miss Donna for her numerous atrocities, but I couldn't shake the feeling that she wasn't acting alone. Someone else must have been pulling the strings, someone other than Angelica.
