Evelyn's POV

I put up my hair in a messy bun, it had become too full for me to hold it up in a neat ponytail on my own.

Releasing an exhale, I picked the hair scrunchie on the dressing table and slipped my hair into it before walking out. I bumped into Ember by the door.

‘‘Hey.’’ I called out in relief, exhaling sharply.

“I'm sorry, my lady. I thought I should know if you would like to have your meal now.’’ She smiled warmly.

‘‘Ah, I see. I'm still not hungry yet though, where is Merit?’’ I cleared my throat.

“She is in the kitchen. She asked me to come check on you.’’ She replied softly.

She seems nice, I can't say much for sweet yet. But I'll say she's pretty calm and innocent. I think I like her.
